Detroit Lions 09/28/2006 7:45 AMThe Detroit Free reports the Lions released WR Corey Bradford on Wednesday so they could sign OL Blaine Saipaia -- even though that means they will pay Bradford almost $1 million per game (or per catch). Bradford was the first free agent the Lions obtained in the off-season, signing a four-year deal. He will receive his signing bonus of $2 million and base salary of $800,000 for this season -- a total of $2.8 million. He played three games. He caught three passes for 36 yards in the opener, then none in the next two games.Read more

On Monday, Kubiak said he was disappointed in Williams' performance in the 31-15 loss to Washington that dropped the Texans' record to 0-3.
