Sams wouldn't say whether he's subject to a suspension from the NFL. If he had been placed in the NFL substance abuse program after his first arrest - which is considered strictly confidential by the league - Sams could receive a four-game suspension for his second drunken driving charge in the past 14 months. When asked by The Sun about his legal issues and the possibility of being suspended, Sams repeatedly said: "I'm good. I'm good." For now, he just wants to be able to enjoy life's simple pleasures â such as driving a car, laying his head on a pillow and exercising. All three are impossible because he wears a Halo brace to support his broken neck. "Just cuddling with my wife (Lindsey) is something I can't do," he said. "We?ve tried a couple of times, and I whacked her with my Halo." Pollack, who suffered what he called a "mild fracture" of his C-6 vertebra while attempting to tackle Cleveland RB Reuben Droughns on Sept. 17, spoke publicly Thursday for the first time since the injury.Read more
