Pollack at peace with injury

The Dayton Daily News reports injured Cincinnati Bengals LB David Pollack hopes to play football again. For now, he just wants to be able to enjoy life's simple pleasures — such as driving a car, laying his head on a pillow and exercising. All three are impossible because he wears a Halo brace to support his broken neck. "Just cuddling with my wife (Lindsey) is something I can't do," he said. "We?ve tried a couple of times, and I whacked her with my Halo." Pollack, who suffered what he called a "mild fracture" of his C-6 vertebra while attempting to tackle Cleveland RB Reuben Droughns on Sept. 17, spoke publicly Thursday for the first time since the injury.
