Indianapolis Colts 10/06/2006 8:43 AMThe Indianapolis Star reports DT Corey Simon's season is over and his playing future uncertain because of an unspecified illness unrelated to his knee injury. Indianapolis Colts president Bill Polian announced Thursday that the team's veteran defensive tackle was placed on the NFL's non-football illness/injury list, ending his season. Citing Simon's privacy and federal medical privacy laws, the team did not elaborate on the nature of the illness other than to insist it was "not football-related.''
