An Internet report Thursday night had Morgan, who was released last month by the Panthers, signing a one-year deal with the Saints. New York Jets 03/07/2008 3:37 PMThe Star-Ledger reports the Jets signed Vikings three-time Pro Bowl FB Tony Richardson to a one-year contract. Terms of the deal were unavailable. However, the Jets lost out on special teams ace Brendon Ayanbadejo, who agreed to a four-year, $4.92 million deal with the Ravens. The Jets remain in the mix for Patriots S Eugene Wilson, who visited on Wednesday. RB Jesse Chatman (Dolphins) also visited this week.Read more
