Cincinnati Bengals 03/14/2008 3:26 PMThe Cincinnati Bengals today signed free agent LB Darryl Blackstock to a one-year contract. Blackstock (6-3, 244; Virginia) is a fourth-year NFL player in 2008. He was a third-round draft choice (95th overall) by the Arizona Cardinals in 2005 and played the last three seasons for Arizona, seeing action in 46 games with two starts. San Francisco 49ers 03/14/2008 3:20 PMESPN’s Michael Smith reports WR Bryant Johnson has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers, a source told ESPN.com. Johnson, an unrestricted free agent, was a first-round pick (17th overall) by the Arizona Cardinals in 2003, and had spent his entire career with the Cardinals. Last season, he had 46 receptions for 528 yards and two touchdowns.Read more
Tennessee Titans 03/12/2008 4:36 PMThe Nashville Tennessean reports the Titans have agreed to terms with WR Justin McCareins, according to the player's agent. McCareins, a 2001 draft pick by the Titans who played the past four seasons with the Jets, visited Baptist Sports Park last week, the same day the team signed DE Jevon Kearse. "He's happy to be a Titan again,'' agent Cliff Brady said. McCareins' deal is for one year, and it includes a base salary of $730,000.
