Dolphins fullback faces battery charge

The Palm Beach Post reports police arrested Dolphins FB Reagan Mauia in Weston early Friday after he allegedly knocked another man unconscious and fled. Mauia, 23, faces simple battery charges in the 12:40 a.m. incident outside the Carolina Ale House, according to a Broward County Sheriff's report. Mauia was booked into jail and later released on $1,000 bond. According to witnesses, the victim, Michael Gianatassio of Weston, 27, and his girlfriend made eye contact with Mauia as they walked past him. Mauia asked Gianatassio what he was looking at, and Gianatassio replied he wasn't looking at anyone, according to the report. Read more

4 more prospects visit Steelers

The Post-Gazette reports four more college prospects visited the Steelers today, including two top wide receivers and an offensive lineman projected to be drafted in the first round. Virginia's Branden Albert, considered the best guard in the draft, joined wide receivers Malcolm Kelly of Oklahoma and James Hardy of Indiana, along with CB Charles Godfrey of Iowa today at the team's facility on Pittsburgh's South Side. BigCProfootball.com reports the Indianapolis Colts have re-signed DB Matt Giordano. The fourth-year veteran safety became a restricted free agent after this past season and was re-resigned the club announced on Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Read more
