New York Giants 04/26/2008 9:07 AMESPN.com reports New Orleans's apparent deal for TE Jeremy Shockey has hit a delay because of the Giants' demand for more than a No. 2 draft pick for the former Pro Bowler, ESPN's John Clayton reports. The Saints have been debating offering a No. 2 pick, according to sources, but some in the organization would prefer including no more than a No. 3 pick. New Orleans officials' reluctance makes the deal, which could get done on the draft-day clock or Saturday morning before the draft, difficult to pull off. The Giants have already conducted a physical on Shockey, which could be offered to the Saints if he can't make it to New Orleans in time to have one. Sources indicate the Saints are seriously interested in Shockey, so a deal is likely to get done.Read more
Miami Dolphins 04/26/2008 8:59 AMThe Palm Beach Post reports the Dolphins got their prized No. 1 pick signed early, but rather than wait until their next selection in the second round, they have added two players on the night before the NFL Draft. The Dolphins on Friday acquired TE Anthony Fasano and inside LB Akin Ayodele from the Dallas Cowboys for a fourth-round draft pick, the 100th pick overall, in this weekend's draft.Read more

Roos, 25, has emerged as one of the top young left tackles in football. He reportedly received $15 million in guarantees.
