Vick ordered to pay $1.1 mil to Wachovia

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports QB Michael Vick has lost another lawsuit to a financial institution, his second in less than a week. Vick must repay more than $1.1 million for defaulting on a loan to Wachovia Bank in a court order filed Tuesday in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The suspended Falcons quarterback and Gerald Frank Jenkins borrowed money to open Atlantic Wine & Spirits, and the adjoining Tasting Room restaurant, on Camp Creek Parkway in College Park in March of 2007. Summary judgments in the case have already be entered against Atlantic Wine and Jenkins. Read more

After missing two seasons, Bentley could return at minicamp

ESPN’s James Walker reports Cleveland Browns C LeCharles Bentley is expected to make his long-awaited comeback to the team during June's mandatory veteran minicamp, coach Romeo Crennel said Wednesday. Bentley, whom the Browns signed as a free agent in 2006, has missed the past two seasons following a torn patellar tendon in his knee and a subsequent staph infection that required additional surgery. "He's got one or two things that he's got to work through to come and pass our physical," Crennel said. "So he's not here right now and might not be here until the minicamp." Read more

Falcons' Horn plans to seek trade

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Falcons veteran WR Joe Horn said Monday that he would like to be traded instead of remaining with the team as a "just-in-case guy." "I want to win a Super Bowl and I want to win a Super Bowl here in Atlanta, but I don't think I can help this team win a Super Bowl sitting on the bench, waiting for third down," Horn said. Horn said he had not approached the team yet about his desire to be dealt but that him and/or his agent would in the near future. Read more
