Cleveland Browns 05/17/2008 11:15 PMAP reports Cleveland Browns OL Ryan Tucker broke his hip during practice this week and will miss at least two months. The Browns said Saturday that Tucker had successful surgery at the Cleveland Clinic on Friday to repair the non-displaced fracture. He hurt himself Wednesday during the Browns' organized team activities and limped off the field at end of practice. The 6-6, 320-pound Tucker will likely miss all of training camp but is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season. Cleveland's opener is Sept. 7 at home against the Dallas Cowboys.Read more

They could give him $8 million. Cleveland Browns 05/16/2008 8:57 AMThe Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Browns return specialist Joshua Cribbs might soon get his long-held wish of being more involved in the offense. "We're putting in a nice package just to utilize more of my skills as well as everyone else's," said Cribbs, who made the Pro Bowl last season as a kick returner. "Last year, we put in one or two plays a game, but this year, it will be on a more consistent basis. It's going to be more of an elaborate package for a change of pace."
