"Did you know?" he was asked. "Know what?" Umenyiora replied. "Strahan retired." Umenyiora's eyes shifted across the parking lot to the Meadowlands Racetrack in the hazy distance. Houston Texans 06/10/2008 10:25 AMThe official website of the Houston Texans reports the Texans released QB Quinn Gray and OT Jordan Black Monday in an effort to trim down their roster to 80 players before training camp. “It is going to be increasingly more difficult (to make these cuts) as teams try to figure out how many guys at their positions that they are going to take to training camp,” general manager Rick Smith said. “We decided on the number we want to take, and it just felt like at this point he (Gray) did not have a good chance of making it.
