Berrian was a surprise addition to the injury report Friday with a knee injury. He's listed as questionable for Monday night's game at New Orleans. Philadelphia Eagles 10/04/2008 10:15 AMThe Philadelphia Inquirer reports for the first time since he strained his right ankle, Eagles running back Brian Westbrook was on the field for all of yesterday's practice, perhaps a sign that he might play tomorrow against Washington. Westbrook strained the ankle two weeks ago against Pittsburgh. "He was able to get through everything," coach Andy Reid said. "It looked like he did well. We will just see how he feels later and then [today]. More importantly, we'll see how he feels on Sunday."Read more
Pittsburgh Steelers 10/04/2008 10:02 AMThe Post-Gazette reports the Steelers will be without five starters when they play the Jacksonville Jaguars tomorrow night in a nationally televised game. At least, they won't be without two others. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger returned to practice yesterday for the first time this week, a day after he received an injection in his sore right shoulder. He was joined by Pro Bowl linebacker James Harrison, who missed the first two days of practice because of a deep thigh bruise sustained in the Monday night victory against the Baltimore Ravens. Both players will start against the Jaguars, who have won the past four meetings in the series.Read more
Chicago Bears 10/04/2008 9:57 AMThe Chicago Sun-Times reports DT Tommie Harris was not sent to time out by Bears coach Lovie Smith because he couldn't keep his act together the last few weeks. The three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle was suspended for Sunday's game at Detroit because of a pattern of behavior that has marked his career, not something that is the result of off-field issues that have mounted for the player since Week 2. It was the accumulation of a variety of offenses that led to numerous fines, mostly for being late to team functions, that caught up to Harris.Read more
