The Dallas Cowboys quarterback threw passes Wednesday morning and, according to a source, has told the coaches he’s willing to play on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams. Romo did not practice on Wednesday, and coach Wade Phillips said if Romo does not practice he will not play. Romo will make the trip to St. Louis. Veteran Brad Johnson practiced with the first-team offense on Wednesday, and is still expected to start on Sunday.Read more
New Orleans Saints 10/16/2008 3:37 PMThe Time-Picayune reports Saints RB Reggie Bush, who didn't practice Wednesday because of swelling in his left knee, said there's no cause for alarm. "The knee's fine," Bush said. "Just a little swelling. That's all. Just take it easy. Just a little precautionary stuff, nothing serious. . . . It's been swollen since training camp." They're taking the physical nature of the game out of the game, Polamalu said. "It loses so much of its essence, and it really becomes like a pansy game," the Steelers' Pro Bowl strong safety said.
