Ryan aware of Falcons' stumbles

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has thrown at least one interception in the last four games, including three against Oakland in his last outing. Over his 68 regular-season starts, he’s only thrown three interceptions in one other game. He threw three in a 35-27 loss to New Orleans on Nov. 2, 2009. Also, he has only one other stretch throwing an interception in four straight games. Read more
The Palm Beach Post reports the latest Dolphins-Jets feud — which began in Week 3 when coach Rex Ryan said his team would put “a little hot sauce” on Miami’s Reggie Bush — is getting hotter. Bush ultimately hurt his knee in Miami’s overtime loss, and Jets safety LaRon Landry was still bragging about it this week, saying that Bush would “remember that hit.” 
The San Diego Union-Tribune reports Chargers tight end Antonio Gates, nearly all recovered from the cartilage tear he sustained on Sept. 10, sounded almost envious Thursday, recalling the resilience of his body as a 23-year-old rookie. 
AP reports the Cleveland Browns officially belong to Jimmy Haslam. His $1.05 billion purchase of the NFL franchise from Randy Lerner was closed Thursday, just nine days after the sale was approved by the league's owners. Haslam now owns 70 percent of the team, and the truck stop magnate will get the other 30 percent from Lerner in four years.
