"No changes on the injury report," Falcons HC Jim Mora said after practice. Abraham has not practiced since suffering the groin injury late in the 20-6 victory over Carolina. Wednesday and Thursday are usually the heavy practice days during the regular season.Read more

The better could be found in his eight catches, including an 18-yard touchdown, in Sunday's season-opening loss to the New Orleans Saints. The worse might be found in his comments this week. Wednesday, the outspoken Browns tight end called Sunday's game at Cincinnati a "must win." HC Romeo Crennel wishes he wouldn't have, and said so Thursday. Carolina Panthers 09/14/2006 1:18 PMThe Charlotte Observer reports with Carolina WR Steve Smith still out with an injured hamstring, it's not certain that he will be back in the lineup for Sunday's game at Minnesota. Fellow WR Keyshawn Johnson, though, doesn't want Smith rushed back into action. "You want to have him on the field because he gives you the ability to do some things offensively, but at the same time, you want him out there healthy," Johnson said Wednesday.Read more
