Washington has recorded 13 stops through Week 4 and is two tackles away from setting the career mark in Charlotte. Entering the 2006 season, Washington had totaled 985 tackles (697 solo), 34.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 26 pass breakups and 10 forced fumbles with six different teams.Read more
Minnesota Vikings 10/06/2006 9:01 AMThe Pioneer Press reports former Vikings WR Koren Robinson has filed a grievance against the team seeking a significant portion of the three-year, $12.7 million contract he signed in March. Attorney David Cornwell of DNK Cornwell said he and the NFL Players Association filed the non-injury grievance last week and are awaiting a response from the NFL. Under terms of the collective bargaining agreement, the NFL has seven days from the date the grievance was filed to respond.Read more
Miami Dolphins 10/06/2006 8:58 AMThe Palm Beach Post reports Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper sat out some of Thursday's practice with a sore right shoulder and was added to the NFL's injury list as "probable," but HC Nick Saban was confident he'll play Sunday against New England. "Daunte had a little bit of trouble Wednesday in practice with a little bit of an injured shoulder dating back to the Buffalo game," Saban said Thursday on his radio show. "It's not been a significant issue with him," Saban said. "We thought a day's rest would be good for him. He really did practice some today, but we minimized his reps in practice. "I don't think this is a significant thing. We'll just take it day by day."Read more
