Baltimore Ravens 10/24/2006 9:01 AMThe Baltimore Sun reports as the Ravens' new offensive coordinator, HC Brian Billick inserted himself into his team's huddle yesterday. By Sunday, Billick said, he expects QB Steve McNair to be there, too. According to Billick, McNair remains on course to start against the Saints in New Orleans. McNair participated in his first practice since suffering a concussion and a sprained neck nine days ago, though it's unknown how much he worked. The Ravens are taking a cautious approach this week with McNair and probably will increase his regimen throughout the week.Read more
New York Giants 10/24/2006 8:58 AMThe Star-Ledger reports LB LaVar Arrington was having the type of game that justified his $35 million contract, making two huge plays in the first quarter as the Giants took an early 9-0 lead against the Cowboys. But then, before the first half was over, Arrington was on the back of a cart being driven off the Texas Stadium field, and the Giants had watched those millions go down the drain. Arrington suffered a torn left Achilles' tendon that will require surgery. He will miss the rest of the season.Read more
