New Orleans Saints 10/31/2006 8:18 AMAP reports RB Reggie Bush said his left ankle injury against Baltimore was more of an aggravation of a sprain that occurred in Week 1 at Cleveland, something he expects to keep playing with. "I'll be ready for Tampa," Bush said Monday between meetings and treatment at the New Orleans Saints' training headquarters. The sprain is "something that's kind of been lingering since that first game and hasn't been 100 percent since," Bush said. "I've just been kind of playing through it. ... It just kept getting better and better every week, and I got to the point where I was feeling pretty good, and now I'm right back to the point where I started.Read more

LB Chris Claiborne, an eight-year veteran who began his career with the Lions before short stints with the Vikings and Rams, is now a Giant, the team announced. It was the third time in a week that Campbell worked with the first team. In two practices before the bye, it was Campbell, and not backup QB Todd Collins, who worked with the first team. "You can know everything you need to know, but you still have to have that chemistry together," Campbell said. "Right now, you have to stay patient, and stay confident. Baltimore Ravens 10/31/2006 8:12 AMThe Baltimore Sun reports WR Mark Clayton tweaked his left hamstring again, but the injury likely won't prevent the Ravens' wide receiver from playing against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. HC Brian Billick said yesterday during his weekly news conference at the team's practice facility in Owings Mills that Clayton's hamstring - the same hamstring that had bothered him on three occasions since the Ravens drafted him in the first round in 2005 - flared up again during the second half of Sunday's 35-22 victory over the New Orleans Saints.Read more
