If Glenn, who is listed as probable, is unable to practice today, he won't likely play Sunday at Arizona. Glenn has chondromalacia, which is an irritation of the lining under the kneecap that can affect the quadriceps. The official injury report cites quadriceps. Glenn ran with a trainer during practice Thursday. He hasn't missed a game since 2004, when he was out for 10 weeks with a sprained foot.Read more
Cleveland Browns 11/10/2006 9:19 AMClevelandBrowns.com reports TE Kellen Winslow is on pace to grab 102 receptions this year, which would make him No. 1 in Browns record books with receptions in a season. The current leader is Hall of Famer Ozzie Newsome who tallied 89 receptions in 1983 and 1984. Newsome led the Browns in receptions and receiving yards for five consecutive years (1981-85). Winslowâs 51 receptions this season are higher than all of Newsomeâs at the halfway point in any season from 1981-85. Winslowâs 471 yards are also higher than Newsomeâs receiving yard total in 1983 (467 yards) and 1985 (364 yards) through eight games.Read more
Miami Dolphins 11/10/2006 8:47 AMThe Palm Beach Post reports rookie DT Rodrique Wright said Thursday that he isn't sure whether he will be activated to the active roster, but it is a possibility. Wright has been on the physically unable-to-perform list since he had right shoulder surgery in May. The Dolphins have a three-week tryout period to determine whether Wright should be put on the 53-man roster.Read more
Atlanta Falcons 11/10/2006 8:45 AMThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports The Falcons' maligned secondary suffered another major setback when CB Jason Webster, the team's fourth-leading tackler, was lost for four to six weeks with a torn groin. Webster was injured during Wednesday's practice but stayed with the team. The extent of the injury was not discovered until MRI test results were available late Wednesday.Read more
