St. Louis Rams 11/13/2006 8:20 AMThe St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports seven-time Pro Bowler OT Orlando Pace is out for the year with a torn muscle in his left arm. Pace suffered the triceps injury on an innocent-looking play with 5 minutes left in the second quarter. "It was really kind of a freak thing," Pace said. "I was just punching out, which I've been doing my whole life. But on this one, it kind of snapped." Pace was pass-blocking on defensive end Grant Wistrom, on first and 10 from the Rams 48, when he suffered the injury. "Typical pass pro," Pace said.Read more

Seattle Seahawks 11/11/2006 7:59 PMAP reports the Seattle Seahawks put DT Marcus Tubbs on injured reserve, ending his season, and signed LB Lance Laury from the practice squad. The NFC West-leading Seahawks play the St. Louis Rams at Qwest Field.The 6-foot-3, 324-pound Tubbs, a first-round pick in the 2004 NFL draft, has a left knee injury. He has played in five games for the Seahawks this season, starting two. Tubbs had seven tackles, including four solo, and half a sack. In his three-season career with Seattle, he has 60 tackles, 38 of them solo, with seven sacks, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.Read more
