Second opinion for Leftwich
Jacksonville Jaguars11/14/2006 8:28 AM The Florida Times-Union reports QB Byron Leftwich visited renowned orthopedic surgeon James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala., on Monday to seek a second opinion about his injured ankle. Leftwich was reportedly told by Jaguars team doctors that he wouldn't be able to play again this season, which led to him seeking a second opinion. Asked about the visit and whether he'd support a decision by Leftwich to undergo season-ending surgery, HC Jack Del Rio offered a snippy response. Read more
