Horn plans to play against Bengals

The Times-Picayune reports barring a setback this week, injured Saints WR Joe Horn said he plans to play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals at the Superdome. Horn, the franchise's all-time leader in touchdown receptions with 49, has missed the past two games with an injured groin. Read more

The Arizona Republic reports Cardinals CB Eric Green has a message for his old college teammate at Virginia Tech, Detroit RB Kevin Jones: Listen to your messages and return your calls. "I haven't had a chance to hit him yet," Green said. "I'm upset with him now, too, so I'm going to try to give him a shot if I can. He's my boy and he never answers his phone. So I say, 'All right, when we play I'm going to knock the hell out of you if I get the chance.' " Green was smiling when he said that. Read more

The Palm Beach Post reports suspended RB Ricky Williams finished his season in the CFL on Sunday when his Toronto Argonauts were ousted from the playoffs. Dolphins HC Nick Saban has not yet talked to Williams about plans for the future. "I don't think that's something that needs to be decided upon right this minute, right now, anyway," Saban said. Argonauts team President Keith Pelley said Williams will return to the Dolphins, but he hopes Williams might come back to the Argonauts when his NFL days are done. That could happen, considering Williams' sadness about leaving his Argonauts teammates. "For the first time in my career, I bonded with my teammates and I'm not ready to leave them," Williams said.
