San Francisco 49ers11/15/2006 8:53 AM The Sacramento Bee reports 49ers HC Mike Nolan said RB Frank Gore, who rushed for a career-high 159 yards on 22 carries against the Lions, including a franchise-record 148 in the first half highlighted by a 61-yard touchdown burst, felt better on the flight home after being knocked out of the game with a mild concussion late in the third quarter. Fifth in the league with 831 rushing yards, the injury to the second-year running back appeared to be the team's only one of significance, although Nolan sounded confident Gore would play Sunday.
