The seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker sat out Sunday's 24-10 throttling of the Atlanta Falcons after undergoing minor surgery Thursday to drain blood from his bruised back. DT Shaun Rogers returned to team headquarters Monday after serving a four-game suspension for using a banned substance. But he had minor knee surgery while he was away, and HC Rod Marinelli is concerned about his conditioning. "I think it'll be tough, to be honest," Marinelli said. "But we'll see." It's less customary after a defeat, but Cleveland Browns HC Romeo Crennel is trying it this week. "Because they're tired, they've worked hard, this is past the halfway point of the season, and I've got several guys who need to recover," Crennel said. "I want them to recover so we can have the same kind of effort next week."
