Miami Dolphins 11/23/2006 8:35 AMThe Palm Beach Post reports the Dolphins, who are expected to be without CB Will Allen and S Travares Tillman for today's game against the Detroit Lions, signed S Norman LeJeune off the practice squad Wednesday and waived OG Joe Berger, according to a league source. Tillman, who plays safety in the dime package, had two screws inserted into his left hand Monday to stabilize a fracture and was ruled out for today's game.Read more
Jacksonville Jaguars 11/23/2006 8:32 AMThe Florida Times-Union reports Jaguars QB Byron Leftwich, who underwent surgery on his ankle Tuesday, won't play again in the regular season and is a "candidate for injured reserve," HC Jack Del Rio said Wednesday. Leftwich had the surgery performed by James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala. The noted orthopedic surgeon also performed surgery on the broken leg and shoulder of Jaguars S Donovin Darius, who was placed on the injured-reserve list Wednesday. Darius had been playing with an injured shoulder and decided to get that cleaned out while he was having surgery on the leg.Read more
