Atlanta Falcons
12/09/2006 5:40 AM
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports QB Matt Schaub strutted around practice like it was a normal week. Under orders from K Morten Andersen, no one was to talk about "it." "It" is the NFL's all-time scoring record that Andersen is seven points shy of breaking. "Until we get to that point, he doesn't want to talk about it," Schaub said. "I keep reminding him to joke with him, but he's like, 'Don't talk about it.' " With a little prodding, Andersen reluctantly decides that he's close enough to talk about the record. Read more

"I'm just going to make the decision that's best for me," Taylor said. "If I can go, I can go. If I can't, I can't." Read more

The Tampa Tribune reports RB Cadillac Williams might find himself spending a lot of time working with the Bucs' receivers in the offseason. No, Williams is not moving to receiver. But in the wake of another dropped pass in Sunday's loss at Pittsburgh, even Williams admits that pass-catching is an area he needs to work on to improve his overall game. "That's an area that I'm definitely going to have to get better at," Williams said of catching the ball. "It's one of those things where I think the situation will get better the more I get put into the situation." Read more
