SeniorBowl.com reports five outstanding seniors from the University of Notre Dame -- electrifying QB Brady Quinn, record-setting wide receivers Jeff Samardzija and Rhema McKnight, DE Victor Abiamiri and OL Ryan Harris – have accepted invitations to participate in the 2007 Under Armour Senior Bowl, set for Saturday, January 27 in Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium. SeniorBowl.com reports Auburn’s Kenny and David Irons are set to make Senior Bowl history. The pair of outstanding draft prospects from Dacula, Ga., in addition to becoming the first players to be officially named to the roster for the 2007 Under Armour Senior Bowl on Thursday, will become the first set of brothers to play in the contest in the same year in the game’s 58-year history. Owens fined, not suspended for spitting

AP reports WR Terrell Owens has 35,000 reasons to never spit at an opponent again. T.O. was fined $35,000 by the NFL on Monday for spitting in the face of Atlanta CB D'Angelo Hall during Saturday night's Cowboys-Falcons game. Although it's more than twice as much as the last fine for spitting, the flamboyant receiver avoided a suspension. That doesn't mean he is out of Bill Parcells' doghouse. The Dallas coach said Monday "we don't condone that kind of activity," adding that the team may also punish Owens. Read more
