Bengals sign 1st-round pick Kirkpatrick
Cincinnati Bengals05/18/2012 1:50 PM The Cincinnati Bengals today signed CB Dre Kirkpatrick of Alabama, their first selection (17th overall) in the 2012 draft. A multiple first-team 2011 All-America selection, Kirkpatrick last year helped lead Alabama to its second BCS national championship in his three years at the school. He proved himself throughout his career as a confident defender who can physically outperform receivers and play tough against the run. Read more

Sanu is already being compared to T.J. Houshmandzadeh in terms of size and consistency. Okay, I get the size, but consistency? Please, let’s not get carried away here. Sanu hasn’t played a down in the NFL. Luckily, he’s remaining humble and not buying into the hype. Read more
