New York Jets 09/22/2007 7:06 AMAP reports QB Chad Pennington, still recovering from a sprained right ankle that sidelined him last weekend, was listed as questionable Friday for the New York Jets' game against the Miami Dolphins. Pennington was injured in the season opener against New England and didn't play last week at Baltimore as QB Kellen Clemens got his first NFL start. Pennington, still expected to start Sunday, appeared to be moving well in practice this week, barely showing any signs of the limp that was so noticeable last week.Read more
New York Giants 09/22/2007 6:59 AMThe Star-Ledger reports a day after LB Antonio Pierce caused a stir by blowing an air horn when a television reporter tried to ask him questions about the team's woeful defense, things were back to normal with the Giants yesterday. Back to normal, of course, meant WR Plaxico Burress wasn't doing much in practice, and as usual his status for tomorrow's game against the Washington Redskins is up in the air. "He was limited (in practice)," Giants HC Tom Coughlin said. "He didn't complete the full practice, but he did a few things and we'll see. It's going to be one of those deals, depending on how he feels on game day."Read more
