Bank sues Vick for not repaying loans

AP reports an Indiana bank sued suspended Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick for not repaying loans involving a car rental business. 1st Source Bank of South Bend said in a federal lawsuit it suffered damages of at least $2 million because Vick and Divine Seven LLC of Atlanta had refused to pay for the vehicles.The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages. Last week, the Royal Bank of Canada sued Vick in federal court in Virginia for more than $2.3 million that it said he had planned to use for real estate investments. Read more

Lewis misses portion of practice

The Baltimore Sun reports LB Ray Lewis missed the early portion of Ravens practice today in Owings Mills for the third straight day, though his absence has yet to raise concerns as far as his status for Sunday's game in Cleveland against the Browns. Lewis is reportedly nursing an ankle injury, according to the team's injury report. Read more

Dolphins' Thomas: It's up to the doctor

The Palm Beach Post reports LB Zach Thomas recalls exactly when he suffered a concussion in the Dolphins' loss to Dallas, because he went from wired to tired almost immediately. "It wasn't affecting my play. Just made me real sleepy," Thomas said Thursday in his first public comments since he was hurt Sept. 16. "You can't really sit on the bench. You want to fall asleep. "Everything goes from HD to regular TV, and that's the truth." Read more

Horn, Mughelli underutilized

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the question was hardly unfamiliar to Falcons FB Ovie Mughelli. His mother and brother have read him blogs and other online comments -- "They're big Internet people" -- but even they've asked, "Why are you here?""My mom asked me and I said, 'Don't get me started,' " Mughelli said. WR Joe Horn, another newcomer whose impact has been far less than expected for the 0-3 Falcons, also has heard the questions. "I'm frustrated because we're losing," Horn said. "I'm not frustrated, really, because I'm not getting the ball as much as I would like. That's being selfish and I can't be selfish. I'm a receiver. I'm hungry. I'd love to have every ball. It just frustrates me that we're not winning, and that's not happening." Read more
