Baltimore Ravens 09/29/2007 8:56 AMThe Baltimore Sun reports OT Jonathan Ogden looked down at the mound of tape and gauze covering the big toe on his left foot. "It's more like a mummy," Ogden said with a smile. Whether Ogden's mummified toe, which has kept him out of the past two games and which he first hyperextended last season, will prevent him from playing for the Ravens tomorrow against the Browns in Cleveland has yet to be determined. The perennial All-Pro left tackle was listed as questionable yesterday on the team's injury report. It was an upgrade from last week when Ogden was listed Friday as out of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.Read more

Johnson scored in the first two games of the season, but suffered a back injury in last weekâs 56-21 loss in Philadelphia. The loss dropped Detroit to 2-1.Read more
New Orleans Saints 09/29/2007 8:50 AMThe Times-Picayune reports Saints RB Deuce McAllister had surgery performed on both of his knees Thursday in Birmingham, Ala., and made it through the procedures with no complications, according to the team. Renowned orthopedist Dr. James Andrews repaired the torn anterior cruciate ligament and torn meniscus in McAllister's left knee, which he injured in Monday night's loss to Tennessee. Andrews also used the opportunity to perform arthroscopic surgery on McAllister's right knee in a less-invasive "clean-up" procedure to alleviate soreness. McAllister tore the ACL in his right knee two years ago.Read more
