The Dayton Daily News reports WR Chad Johnson actually wants QB Carson Palmer to rip him when he messes up. What's more, Johnson said, he needs it. The Cincinnati Bengals' dynamic duo is like an old, married couple. They fuss 'n' fight, but always make up. And that's what happened after Monday's heated exchange between the two on a pass play that resulted in an interception in the Bengals' 34-13 loss to the New England Patriots. Was Johnson surprised that Palmer called him out? "No, that's the way we are," Johnson said. "It's a good thing, because the only person I have around me who's not patting me on the back — 'Oh, my gosh, great catch! Way to go, Chad!' — is '9' (Palmer). And I need that. "I expect perfection out of him, and he expects perfection out of me. I messed up on one play. It's good that we're like that. That's what makes us great." Read more
