Cincinnati Bengals
10/05/2007 8:31 AM
The Dayton Daily News reports the wall that separates the locker room from the news conference room at Paul Brown Stadium isn't thick enough for Bengals HC Marvin Lewis. The media heard Lewis' profanity-laced tirade after Cincinnati's 34-13 loss to New England on Monday. He said his son, Marcus, heard it, too. "We had a little problem out there," Lewis said Wednesday. "We won't do that anymore. You'll never hear what I say again. You can write that down. Maybe you needed to hear it. The catch marked Edwards’ second-longest career TD (80 at GB 9/18/05). The play also marked the second longest pass play and reception in 2007, trailing a 91-yard pass play by Lions QB Jon Kitna to WR Roy Williams. RB Jamal Lewis’ 66-yard TD run against the Bengals in Week Two is the longest TD run on the season. WR/KR Joshua Cribbs’ 99-yard kickoff return for a TD at Oakland in Week Three is the second-longest kickoff return for a TD in the 2007 season, trailing only Patriots CB Ellis Hobbs’ 108-yard TD return. TE Kellen Winslow hauled in a career-long 49-yard reception in Week Four against the Ravens, the second-longest reception by a TE in 2007. He joins Bears TE Desmond Clark as the only TEs with a 40+-yard reception on the season.
