Cincinnati Bengals 10/09/2007 7:56 AMThe Dayton Daily News reports Bengals QB Carson Palmer feels the fans' agony and wants to see their ecstasy. The only way to ease their pain is to beat the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. Denver Broncos 10/08/2007 1:49 PMThe Denver Post reports the good news for the Broncos is that RB Travis Henry played Sunday. The rest of the season, though, is a week-to-week proposition. Looming over the Broncos' worst home defeat in 41 years is the weight of Henry's drug case, which weighs as heavily as the Broncos' three-game losing streak. QB David Carr replaced him the last two games, when Delhomme was listed as the No. 3 quarterback as he considered whether to have surgery.Read more
Atlanta Falcons 10/08/2007 8:59 AMThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports things have gone from bad to bitterly bizarre for the Falcons. A hard-to-describe 20-13 loss at Tennessee on Sunday was another downward step some players said they felt was impossible because the stairwell had already stopped at the basement. The most combustible element to it all â and there are plenty of problems â is a quarterback controversy that was introduced when Falcons coach Bobby Petrino pulled starter Joey Harrington and inserted No. 3 QB Byron Leftwich with 10:43 remaining, trailing by seven points.Read more
