TE Stephen Alexander was placed on injured reserve Thursday, a transaction that not only ends his season but most likely ends his 10-year NFL career. Denver Broncos 10/19/2007 12:51 PMThe Denver Post reports one day, Broncos WR Javon Walker says the team needs to throw him the ball and the best way he can get this accomplished is to get at the coaches. The next day, the biggest of Broncos coaches, Mike Shanahan, says Walker is going to have surgery in Houston today on his right knee and will be out another four weeks. In other words, Walker can talk the talk, but it will be awhile before he can walk the walk.Read more
