Arizona Cardinals 10/20/2007 8:35 AMThe Arizona Republic reports twice in the past four games, Cardinals SS Adrian Wilson has drawn penalties for unnecessary roughness for blasting receivers, and each violation played a big role in the Cardinals losing those games. Such violations often prompt fines from the NFL offices, but Wilson's paycheck remained untouched in both cases. That seems to suggest that the NFL is tacitly saying those hits were within the rules. A league spokesman, however, said that's not the case because not every penalty warrants a fine.Read more
