Cincinnati Bengals 10/30/2007 8:26 AMThe Dayton Daily News reports Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh stood behind his embattled coach Monday, saying he has Marvin Lewis' back. Lewis is under fire for the club's 2-5 start and the hot seat got hotter with his controversial call to go for a field goal instead of a first down â and potential touchdown â in the Bengals' 24-13 loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday. "When things were going bad (in 2002), Marvin was the savior when he came in (2003), so he turns it around and things were going good," Houshmandzadeh said. "Now that things aren't going the way everybody expects them to, you want to say, 'Oh, get rid of him.' Why is that? "When everything is going good, you love him. So you've got to take the bitter with the sweet, the good with the bad and just roll with the punches. We're just not winning games. It's not his fault. Guys can say, 'I don't like the plays being called.' But you've still got to run 'em. If you don't like 'em, then do the best you can possibly do and make it work."Read more
