Chad, T.J. take turns resting up for Ravens

The Dayton Daily News reports Bengals wide receivers T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson pulled the ol' switcheroo this week. Houshmandzadeh returned to practice on Thursday after resting his knee on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Johnson had Thursday off after wearing a padded neck roll to protect his injured neck during practice on Wednesday. QB Carson Palmer hopes to have both wide receivers available today in preparation for Sunday's game at Baltimore. "(Palmer) has had to work with young guys in there at practice," coach Marvin Lewis said. "That's a little hard. If you go out there everyday and have the same guys, it makes it easy on everybody." Dolphins' Thomas still not cleared to play

The Palm Beach Post reports what was once considered a minor car accident has created recurring health concerns for Dolphins LB Zach Thomas. Migraine headaches threaten to keep him out of action for the third straight week since he suffered whiplash during a fender-bender after an Oct. 21 loss to New England. Doctors have not cleared Thomas, a seven-time Pro Bowler and the leading tackler for the winless Dolphins, to play Sunday against Buffalo. HC Cam Cameron said he doesn't know if the headaches are concussion-related. Read more

The Dayton Daily News reports right OG Seth McKinney (shoulder injury) did not practice Wednesday. If he can't go, his place will be taken by either Lennie Friedman or Ryan Tucker. Tucker, currently splitting time with Kevin Shaffer at right tackle, played guard in the preseason and works there in practice. When was the last time he played guard in a regular-season game?
