Carolina Panthers 11/10/2007 8:25 AMThe Charlotte Observer reports Carolina Panthers QB Vinny Testaverde sat out Friday's practice because of soreness in the Achilles tendon that has shelved him recently, coach John Fox said. Testaverde, who had practiced the previous two days and was expected to start Sunday's game against Atlanta at Bank of America Stadium, is listed as questionable on the injury report. QB David Carr is listed as out for the game, despite doing drills today. He suffered a concussion Sunday in Tennessee and says he feels fine, but doctors are being cautious with him. If Testaverde can't play, QB Matt Moore would replace him. QB Drew Olson, signed to the practice squad this week, also is available.Read more
