Gray to start

The Florida Times-Union reports it's looking more likely that Quinn Gray will make his third consecutive start at quarterback for the Jaguars this week. Because of QB David Garrard's high ankle sprain, Gray has started the past two weeks. Garrard was listed on Friday's injury report as questionable. Read more

Colts shorthanded at receiver position

The Indianapolis Star reports Pro Bowl WR Marvin Harrison (knee) was a limited participant for the third consecutive day. He has missed three of the past four games. If Harrison doesn't play, the Colts would have only three wide receivers, Reggie Wayne, Aaron Moorehead and Craphonso Thorpe, making TE Dallas Clark's (concussion) status even more crucial. Keiaho, Hagler game-day decision

The Indianapolis Star reports four starters who had sat out practice because of injuries the previous two days returned Friday, but with the Indianapolis Colts facing Pro Bowl RB LaDainian Tomlinson at San Diego on Sunday, a pair of linebackers were of particular concern. LB Freddy Keiaho (ear) and LB Tyjuan Hagler (neck) were limited practice participants for the third consecutive day. Both are listed as questionable for Sunday's game, meaning there is a 50-50 chance they will play.

"It's probably going to be game-day (decision)," coach Tony Dungy said. "They've taken part in a lot of the individual work, not any of the team work, but if they're cleared to go on Sunday, we'll let them go." Read more

No contract talks yet with Boley

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the Falcons have not yet entered into contract extension talks with outside LB Michael Boley, who's having a breakout season. Boley's agent, Zeke Sandhu, said there has been no contact from the team about extending the contract of its leading tackler (90) and emerging young star. Sandhu said he has not been given any indication that any talks would be taking place in the near future. Read more
