RB Chris Brown, still slowed by a sprained ankle that kept him out of the past three games, practiced Friday. Fisher said Brown is improving "but he's still on our injury report." Henry has 20 days to withdraw his appeal and is expected to do so next week, when he would begin serving a four-game suspension. The Eagles' right defensive end, who already has compiled nine sacks, just wants to keep going in the wake of declaring in the preseason that his goal was to make it to double digits. "I just want to play hard-nosed football," he said. "I just want to keep getting sacks and try to do what I can for my team. I want to keep going hard from here on out." Cole will need help the rest of the way, to be sure. He started strongly last season as well with 6.5 sacks in the first eight games but only 1.5 in the next eight.Read more
Washington Redskins 11/10/2007 9:20 AMThe Washington Post reports wide receivers Santana Moss and Antwaan Randle El missed practice again yesterday, leaving their status in doubt as the Washington Redskins completed preparations to face the Philadelphia Eagles tomorrow at FedEx Field. Moss, who is listed as questionable, did not practice this week after suffering a heel injury in Sunday's 23-20 overtime victory over the New York Jets. Randle El aggravated a hamstring injury and missed the last two days of practice but is listed as probable.Read more
