Atlanta Falcons 11/22/2007 8:27 AMThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports QB Byron Leftwich has gone from the Falcons starting quarterback to third on the depth chart for Thursday night's game against Indianapolis at the Georgia Dome. Leftwich did not practice this week after suffering a tailbone injury during his second start of the season, Sunday's 31-7 loss to TampaBay. Since he was unable to go through drills during the short week, coach Bobby Petrino named QB Joey Harrington the starter on Tuesday and elevated QB Chris Redman Wednesday.Read more
Cleveland Browns 11/22/2007 8:20 AMThe Dayton Daily News reports four Cleveland Browns starters, including rookie CB Eric Wright, sat out Wednesday's practice with knee injuries as the team began preparations for Sunday's home game against the Houston Texans. Wright suffered a sprained knee in Sunday's win at Baltimore. He is not expected to need surgery, but the Browns gave no timetable for his return. Knee problems also kept DE Shaun Smith, right OT Kevin Shaffer and NT Ethan Kelley from practicing.Read more

And then there's P Kyle Larson's 1994 faded blue-and-silver Chevy S-10 pickup truck with the Nebraska plates. Which brings us to Thanksgiving Day. The Bengals' fourth-year punter from Funk, Neb., is thankful for his job, his wife and his meager means of transportation. He calls his truck "ol' faithful" because it gets him where he wants to go â home and the stadium. "That Chevy pickup's been good to me over the years," Larson said. "I imagine it'll go out on me one of these days. But until it does, there's no use getting rid of it. I like it. It's nice and broken in."Read more
Oakland Raiders 11/21/2007 8:43 AMThe San Francisco Chronicle reports Raiders RB Lamont Jordan asked the team to release him this week, and he just might get his wish. Jordan told team officials Monday he wanted out after being benched the past two games, a source familiar with the situation said on the condition of anonymity. If the Raiders decide to release Jordan, they won't have to look far for a replacement. They must activate rookie RB Michael Bush by 1 p.m. today or place him on the season-ending injured reserve list.Read more
