Wednesday, he was banished to another part of the Raiders' training facility reserved for those deemed unfit to play. Two fields away, running backs LaMont Jordan and Dominic Rhodes chatted before practice hit full stride. It's likely they weren't talking about long-term housing plans in the Bay Area. Carolina Panthers 11/22/2007 8:58 AMThe Charlotte Observer reports on the same day QB David Carr declared himself healthier than he's been in months, Carolina Panthers coach John Fox announced QB Vinny Testaverde will be the starting quarterback Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. "Right now, if everybody's healthy, Vinny will be the starter," Fox said. Health always might be an issue for Testaverde, 44, but Fox's announcement was out of character for a coach who has spent much of the season waiting until Sundays to make anything official.Read more
