Losman at quarterback. In the NFL, youâre only as good as your last play, so make sure your last play was a good one. Edwards will take over the starting job for the second time this season Sunday when the Bills play the Washington Redskins. Pittsburgh Steelers 11/28/2007 3:13 AMThe Post-Gazette reports SS Troy Polamalu and WR Santonio Holmes will run today, and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he is "cautiously optimistic" about their chances to play Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. Polamalu missed Monday night's game with a sprained knee and Holmes was out with a high ankle sprain. The Dolphins running back suffered a torn chest muscle in Monday night's 3-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field, a source told The Palm Beach Post this afternoon. Carolina Panthers 11/28/2007 3:07 AMThe Charlotte Observer reports Carolina Panthers OG Jeremy Bridges was found guilty Tuesday on one count of assault by pointing a gun. "This is one judge's decision, based on what he heard," Bridges said upon leaving the courtroom. "I know I'm not guilty in this whole situation. That's why we're going to appeal and let 12 people decide." Bridges was arrested after an altercation outside a South Charlotte nightclub on July 26 (the day before players reported to training camp) and was suspended for the first two regular-season games by the Panthers. He could face additional penalties from the league.Read more
