The Nashville Tennessean reports Titans RB LenDale White apologized Wednesday for his personal foul penalty last Sunday in Cincinnati. The penalty, which occurred near the end of the first half with the Bengals leading 14-3, cost the Titans a chance at a touchdown. Cincinnati went on to win 35-6. "I acted inappropriately and I should have just walked away like they teach you to, but I guess my attitude got the worst of me,'' said White, who didn't speak to reporters after the game and was unavailable for comment on Monday and Tuesday. "I apologize to my team and my coaches because that is not me. It will never happen again.'' Read more

The tender of $2.562 million would guarantee the Browns first- and third-round draft choices if a QB-hungry team offered Anderson a long-term contract to be its starter. If Anderson stayed through 2008, he could then become an unrestricted free agent in 2009. Read more
