Graham making a run at grand performance

The Tampa Tribune reports RB Earnest Graham's surprising breakout season could soon become one of the most spectacular seasons in franchise history. Though he has started seven games and is averaging less than 15 carries per game, Graham is on pace to become only the second 1,000-yard rusher of the Gruden era and only the seventh in franchise history. With four games left, Graham needs 263 yards - an average of 66 per game - to reach 1,000. As a starter, Graham is averaging 84 yards per game. Read more

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports QB Brett Favre, listed as probable with an elbow injury, practiced Friday and will start. "I thought he threw the ball well today," coach Mike McCarthy said. "I don't think Brett will be hindered from his injury." Read more

Oft-injured James on IR

The Pioneer Press reports a torn anterior cruciate ligament cost LB Chad Greenway his entire rookie season with the Vikings, so he has an insider's appreciation for what DE Erasmus James is going through.  James' comeback from 2006 knee surgery came to an end Friday when he was placed on injured reserve after reinjuring his left ACL in Sunday's victory over Detroit. Harrison doesn't practice

The Indianapolis Star reports HC Tony Dungy said a decision on whether WR Marvin Harrison (knee) would play for the first time in seven weeks probably would be made Sunday morning, but Dungy's comments were made prior to practice and he expected Harrison to participate. Harrison did not practice Friday. Read more
