Miami Dolphins 12/18/2007 8:15 AMThe Palm Beach Post reports the beleaguered Miami Dolphins' first victory Sunday had no long-lasting effect on owner Wayne Huizenga. Huizenga was undecided about selling the team last week, and although beating the Baltimore Ravens in overtime brought him to tears of joy, he now intends on going forward with the sale, a source close to the billionaire said Monday. Baltimore Ravens 12/18/2007 8:12 AMThe Baltimore Sun reports the Ravens have a strategy for handling the humiliation of losing to the winless Miami Dolphins - just ignore it. QB Ben Roethlisberger, S Troy Polamalu and CB Ike Taylor seem to be OK and ready to play against the St. Louis Rams. Roethlisberger, who missed two practices with a sore arm last week and entered Sunday's game against Jacksonville as questionable, "was no worse for the wear, as was Troy, which is encouraging," coach Mike Tomlin said. "Those were two guys going into the game in less than ideal circumstances, as are a lot of people in this business at this time of year. But for those guys to come out of the game no worse for the wear was a good sign for us."Read more

Knowing that he will be a teammate for only two more weeks to close friend, locker-room neighbor and fellow TE Jason Dunn is near the top of his list. âI think about that every day,â Gonzalez said Monday. âIf they get rid of (Dunn), thatâs one of my best friends in life. Itâs sad, but itâs part of the game.âRead more
