Colts send five to Pro Bowl

Indianapolis Colts RB Joseph Addai, QB Peyton Manning, S Bob Sanders, C Jeff Saturday and WR Reggie Wayne have been named to the 2008 AFC Pro Bowl team as announced by the NFL. Sanders, Saturday and Wayne all were named as starters for the February 10th game, to be held at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.  The game will be televised nationally on FOX Sports. Read more

Broncos' Marshall pleads not guilty to DUI

The Denver Post reports Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence today during a short hearing in Denver District Court. Marshall was arrested in lower downtown on Oct. 22 on suspicion of drunken driving. A trial date was set for March 24. Marshall's arrest came hours after he caught six passes for 77 yards in the Broncos 31-28 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers at Invesco Field at Mile High. Marshall was arrested in Douglas County on suspicion of domestic violence in March, but the charges were dismissed. Read more

Rookie Henry returns from suspension

The Nashville Tennessean reports rookie RB Chris Henry rejoined the Titans on Monday after completing a four-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's policy against steroids and related substances. Henry was suspended after testing positive for a non-performance enhancing substance added to the banned list in the past year. "He's been working out. He always stays in good shape," Coach Jeff Fisher said. "He missed being around but he's looking forward to contributing again." Read more

Fitzgerald awaits honor

The Arizona Republic reports Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald will be eyeing the second Pro Bowl selection of his four-year career when the NFL announces results Tuesday, and the chances are decent that he will get it. Fitzgerald ranks second in the NFC to the Cowboys' Terrell Owens in receiving yards (1,166), is tied for fourth in catches (83) and is fifth in touchdowns (eight). And if he makes it, it would trigger an additional $5 million toward his 2008 salary, which will escalate to nearly $15 million. Read more
