Indianapolis Colts 12/28/2007 4:30 PMESPNâs Chris Mortensen reports Colts S Bob Sanders has signed a five-year, $37.5 million contract with Indianapolis that includes $20 million in guaranteed money, according to NFL sources. The contract makes Sanders, 26, the highest-paid safety in the NFL. The Pro Bowl selection, whose playoff performance sparked the Colts on their run to a Super Bowl victory last season, would have been an unrestricted free agent after this season. Dallas Cowboys 12/28/2007 11:36 AMThe Star-Telegram reports WR Patrick Crayton has become the latest Cowboy to agree to a contract extension. Crayton, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent, has agreed to terms on a new four-year, $14 million deal, according to a source. The deal includes a $6 million signing bonus. Crayton said Thursday he was hoping to reach a deal by the end of the week. He defused any speculation that he might be interested in signing with Miami and reuniting with Bill Parcells.Read more
