Winslow's remarks echo fans' frustration

The Dayton Daily News reports should TE Kellen Winslow II have popped off so quickly, after only two games? Probably not. Did he sum up seven years of frustration for Browns fans in a couple of sentences Monday when he called the team's play-calling too conservative? Definitely. What is it with this team and offensive coordinators? Why can't the next rising genius ever turn up on a Cleveland sideline? They tried to prop up Chris Palmer as such in 1999 when he became the first head coach of the new Browns. Fired after two horrible years, Palmer later turned up in Houston as offensive coordinator and was let go in the middle of the season after failing miserably. Read more
